Light Rain In Haryana Relieve Farmers From Irrigation And Frost Tension In Wheat, Mustard And Gram Crops

Rain Update: In today’s time, farming is completely based on the mercy of the weather. If the weather is good then the fields and barns will flourish. Farmers’ bags will also be filled. On the other hand, if the weather is not right, then the farmers also have to face loss in the crops. Tension was visible in many areas of the country due to severe cold and frost, but light and scattered rain on Tuesday has provided relief from great concern. Especially in many areas of Haryana, there was a lot of damage to crops due to frost, but this rain has worked like a lifeline for wheat, gram and mustard crops.

Now natural irrigation of the crops has been done, so the farmers will not have to spend on separate means of irrigation by burning diesel and electricity. According to the Meteorological Department, after light drizzle in Hisar and Jind, there are chances of rain again on January 28-29.

If this is the case then the cost of irrigation of farmers will be saved and the growth of crops will also be faster. The main reason for this is rain water, which is quite different from ground water. Salts and many elements are present in rain water, which accelerates the growth of crops.

benefits of mustard crop
According to the weather forecast, there is a possibility of light rain in many states including Haryana on 28 and 29 January. There is no hailstorm in Haryana or its nearby areas, due to which the crops will grow safely, although the mustard crop has been destroyed in many areas, for which the farmers have now demanded compensation, but the crop which has survived the frost, There is going to be a lot of benefit from light rain.

wheat yield will increase
By the way, the drop in temperature does not have any special effect on the wheat crop. Experts had advised to do light irrigation in wheat crop in the evening, but now after light rains, farmers will not have to work separately.

Experts say that this rain will reduce the effect of frost and the cost of diesel and electricity for irrigation will also be saved. Now the cost of farming will be less and farmers will be helped in getting better income.

Hail danger
Nothing is known about the uncertainties of the weather. The weather was fine at the beginning of the Kharif season, but the late monsoon rained heavily and the farmers had to suffer heavy losses. This time also the farmers are worried about the hailstorm.

Farmers told that light rain is a boon for farming, but if there is strong wind, storm, heavy rain or hailstorm then all the hard work will go in vain, although the Meteorological Department has not expressed the possibility of hailstorm. There are chances of light rain only between 28 to 29 January, which will help in better growth of crops.

Loss in mustard will be compensated
After increasing the price of sugarcane, the Haryana government has issued instructions to get Girdawari done for frost-damaged crops. Now from February 5 the survey will be done on the ground. For this work, the pay scale of Patwaris has also been upgraded by one grade.

Let us tell you that due to the havoc of frost, the mustard seeds have been destroyed by melting before ripening, due to which the production of mustard is expected to decrease in Haryana. Let us tell you that Haryana is the second largest producer of mustard in the country, from where 13.33% production of mustard is available.

One gets 8 to 10 quintals per acre, from which farmers earn up to Rs 60,000, but now after suffering huge losses in many areas, farmers have demanded compensation of Rs 50,000 per acre.
